Day 7 : Your journey takes you via Uis and Khorixas to the Kamanjab Area, on the eastern Etosha National Park boundary. Hobatere Lodge lies in a private concession area that of 32 000 hectares which is home to a wide selection of game such as elephant, lion, cheetah, leopard, spotted & brown hyena, gemsbok, eland, giraffe, kudu, springbok, Hartman's zebra, aardvark, aardwolf, Cape fox and bat-eared fox. Informative bush walks , game drives and night drives. Overnight at a comfortable lodge.
Day 8 : Go north to visit a Himba village and spend time learning about their customs and traditions. They are semi-nomadic pastoralists who tend to trek from one watering place to another. They maintain a tradition of their own, on which other cultures have made little impression and for many centuries they have lived a relatively isolated existence. Overnight at a comfortable lodge.
Day 9-10 : Enter the eastern part of Etosha and spend a full day in this magnificent wildlife paradise, renowned for its big game—lion, cheetah, leopard, and large herds of zebra, wildebeest, eland, springbok, and much more. The beauty of Etosha is that bubbling springs throughout the park attract large concentrations of game, and wildlife can be easily observed at it gathers around waterholes. Overnight at a camp in Etosha.
Days 11-12 : Drive south to Okonjima Lodge. This is the base for AFRICATS, a project dedicated to the conservation of Namibia's big cats, primarily leopard and cheetah. The wildlife here is very habituated to humans, which gives an excellent opportunities to photograph cheetah, leopard, and lions, along with other wildlife. There are numerous walks on the property, as well as a bird viewing and a night hide. Overnight at a comfortable lodge.
Day 13 : Drive to Windhoek, with a stop at the crafts market for woodcarvings.
